Everyone can be named Gywall, then? :D

Wouldn't that lead to... confusion? <_<

It's still less confusing than having the username named after an MD5 hash of the user's password. >_>

I'm kinda enjoying reading some of KuSki's Before-edit, after-edit comparisons.

But seriously, that's one hell of an edited post ratio.

This is something I still have not quite fixed.

A good chuck of posts on Jul have been edited in a way or another, mostly to fix spelling or sentence mistakes I haven't found on the first few passes. Posts here are no exception.

I haven't quite improved on that, although I'm still trying to. >_>

EDIT: And there goes the typo I found just after I submit the post.

Oh, you'll get the hang of it. I'm aided by a spell-checking function, and the fact I proof-read what I'm typing as I type it.

Spell checking is so infinitely useful. You should definitely get it. It's what I use to aid in not having to edit things.

But it's only good as long as you don't spell out a completely different word by accident.

There's no spell checking on this browser (or at least in this translation, as Firefox should have a spell checker), so either I get the mistake before or I have to re-edit the post. Ouch.

I was pretty sure that any up-to-date Firefox version came with a spell checker.

Our school computers are stuck with Firefox 14. Which just broke in an amusing way.

Oh, I checked, and it does have a spell checker, but I'd need to either have the English version or I'd need to change some other hidden setting. >_>

You can simply grab one from the Dictionaries listing. Granted, you'd need to switch between languages.

Also, that might be what makes your browser lag for posting. If it's underlining everything, it'll lag like crazy.

No, it doesn't underline anything and even if I disable it it's still slow.

Not sure about the addon though. Firefox is already slow for some reason...

I have no issues with Firefox being slow.. in fact, it's faster than any other browser I've used.

While I say Firefox is being slow, I think it's the result of this whole notebook being slow.

To make comparisions, a WinXP computer I have with 128MB of RAM is much faster, but there are different memory requirements so this wouldn't count much.

Then the thing slowing you down has to be related to that. In fact, I'd not be surprised if there's a bunch of pre-loading things that are slowing you down.

While I know that, I have killed a lot of autorunning stuff, more than half or the original stuff.

There's still annoying stuff I have to delete, but the other PC which is much worse , has 6GB of RAM (only two more than this PC) and is insanely fast. That doesn't sound good.

Take over things... things like, the entire forum? =o
Like promoting her as local moderator so she can take over the forum? :P
EDIT: So this post came out after Liliana's post, therefore ruining the intended effect. >_<

Dethroning Arisotura may be less work than dethroning Emuz, I suppose... :P

You have no idea. I would advise against it.

I use FF (or Fx for you anal ones in the crowd.) and while it's spell check is sometimes hit or miss, it works. Often you have to trigger it via the right-click menu. Also you don't have to worry if it's a minor issue like spelling..
