Actually, some versions of Windows have a config to reboot on BSoD. I know XP had one setting for that.

I dunno if Windows 7 does.. or if it even has a BSoD. :o

I think it just has the standard NT-type BSoD- not often seen, of course.

That's the default settings for some computers (like mine).

You have to specifically change a setting is Msconfig or select "Disable automatic restart" from the F8 menu.

Also, if you want BSODs on Windows 7, download the original VPC 2007 SP0, run Windows 1.03 in a VM, press the Backspace key and watch as after the colored stripes crash of the guest machine stops you're "greeted" with your host machine automatically rebooting or showing a BSOD. Nice work, VPC!

My second post on Jul was about that, actually. >_>
