I guess I have two requests of "Trel Play's" if you want to do at some point.

Paper Mario (N64)

and the one I don't think you'll want to do..

.hack//Original 4 (this one would take a long time.. but it can be one at a time with other games in between. Also the games have become kinda rare these days)

(also SMB2J/Lost Levels FDS version is always a good one since it's challenging and still kinda rare to see outside of Japan/Gaming Community)

I would consider them... If I still owned them. I did, at one time, own all four of the Kite storyline games, but sold them when I tried to pick back up from the middle of Quarantine and was not only lost, but bored to tears by it.

I mentioned this request to Kuma (my counterpart as founder of Save State) and he said he would take them on instead.

Is the version that was released on Wii Virtual Console good enough for this, or should I find a different ROM of the game?

Well as long as it's the Famicom version. I think the only advantage to the FDS version you'd lose is the FDS loading screens. Those also aren't seem too much outside of Japan/Gaming enthusiast, however it's 5 second of game play + an explanation of the FDS... so really it would just be whatever you feel like

I'm totally okay with doing the .hack series for you, if you happen to like my content. I was actually looking for a project to do next, and that seems good. Makes a great segway towards me doing the G.U. series as well.

If you don't mind taking it on. Yeah, especially if you want to go though the GU series. Gives you the ability to compare/contrast the two series.
