Gas Stoves are quite uncommon here, I hadn't seen one in awhile. I guess it might be more common in some cities though, but not down here in Scania.

I live in a nice village which is near the sea and plenty of plantlife and variation (not like a dull suburban with identical houses everywhere) with immediate access to cheap public transportation. We have a relatively big garden too I been told. My only beef is the commuting time, so I have been considering moving closer to work.

3. Large kitchen... by Tokyo standards, at least. Most kitchens only have one electric burner and a tiny sink, but mine has two (!) gas burners, an area to cut vegetables and things, and a nice, roomy sink. Unfortunately, having a big kitchen cost me a bathroom sink... but that's getting into the things I don't like about my apartment.

Tokyo probably have the amongst smallest apartments i seen, wardrobe sized ones when taken to the extreme.
