They're very tough. Take it from someone who owns a copy of Battletoads. :P

Ah, the days of when it was difficult to kill a cartridge (other than stuff like leaking backup batteries, and even that could be fixed with the right chemicals, etc.)

On another note, some Atari 2600 games are almost 40 years old and still play pretty much perfectly ;) I wonder how many PS4s or Xbox Ones will still be working in 40 years time?

Another thing they could have done in that video is to use sandpaper on the circuit-board.

Actually, I think that depends on the source. I know they're pushing for the choice of digital or physical copies of games. Eventually, I see all games being available via digital downloads only for some systems.. Y'know. The fight against Piracy and all that shit.

Nintendo often provides a reason to get physical copies - like pre-order bonus items. No matter how small. I got a Poké Ball game case from pre-ordering Pokémon X.

They are indeed hard. I'm not too good at SMB3 and I think that's because I'm more used to the NSMB games.

When I first saw this, I thought it was "how difficult are NES games". Although, it is interesting to know how durable they are too.
