Sorry. :( It's just so fun to take childhood trauma and turn it into parental methods! :V

At least it's not as bad as a dream I had as a young'n where there was a band playing my bedroom and yu-gi-oh cards were falling out of the ceiling, tho.

Other beliefs... I don't think this counts as a "belief" per se, but after having a dream as a child that monsters grew out of the toys I left strewn on my floor, I became incapable of sleeping at night if the room was messy. And it continues until today >_>

Maybe I'll teach my kids this.

That actually sounds like a hilarious way to keep your kids' rooms clean.

Let's write a parenting handbook based on this thread while we're at it!

I remember that once I've seen an ad for Twix candies, where one guy was brushing his shoulder with the candy or something weird, and since then I'd think one could brush himself with such a candy. Good thing I never actually tried.

Twix twinkies

To everyone except you, these are two different sugary snacks made by two different companies. One has chocolate and cookie. The other has pastry and white filling.

Actually, a combination between twix and twinkies would be pretty awesome.

Have the cookie on the inside wrap around a twinkie.

mmmmmm

Sorry but the local Frenchie doesn't know much about English candies and crap. In any case I edited the post, is the more generic 'candy' more acceptable to everyone?

Usually just the name of candy is plenty enough.

OK this is ridiculous, why are you bumping 6 year old topics? (even if this is Craziness Domain, it's still frowned upon)

I'd say bumping is okay if you're bringing new content (as opposed to "hey anything new????" bumps), but our friend is clearly doing it for the sake of postcount++, so... yeah.

Well now that it is bumped up, back in my childhood, I believed that I could fly the country meant the sewer and the treatment center. I also believed that you could parachute with your umbrella?

And for 5 seconds a little while back, I believed that when I cut or copied something using my finger, I could paste it to another smartphone or tablet.

When I was a very young kid, I used to think the word "sex" had something to do with boats.

As I got older...I suppose I wasn't totally wrong.

Isn't Craziness Domain ridiculous itself?

I am not yo friend Define "bringing new content" if my post didn't do that.

I think I was bringing new content (as in new beliefs) with that post.

Well it technically is, in some contexts (such as computer graphics which use Red, Green and Blue instead of Red, Yellow and Blue)... there's also Cyan, Magenta and Yellow for printing ^_~

When I was younger, I read this thingie about the process of a hard boiled egg. It said something about a film inside the egg. I actually thought there was a film playing inside the egg. :P

I used to believe, back when I first went online, that other people weren't so bad, on average.

It's like every month or so some doofnak comes out of the woodwork to crush that belief. And I've been online for many, many months.
