Bam.

And from watching the keynote, I have no idea why I would ever want this. It actually kind of stuns me to that degree- usually Apple products have something I find desirable, even if it isn't enough to justify the price.

I love how the special edition literally seems to just be called Watch Edition. Other then that it just seems unnecessary and frivolous to me. Like most of the things Apple makes nowadays.

Macs and iPhones tell the time anyway. Plus, I'm more used to digital clocks rather than analog clocks.

I've seen people using iPod Nanos as watches. This is completely unnecessary.

Who would ever want an iWatch? Wouldn't that be distracting to people who are walking or driving?

Besides, I barely wear a watch these days... just use my phone for a watch :P

Sorry for the bump, but I think I should give my input on this.

Honestly, this is extremely dumb. A watch is supposed to be for telling time, not making phone calls or playing games.

Honestly, most people who have one from my experience use it for two things:
Checking the time, Apple Pay.

Can't you use your iPhone for Apple Pay? I mean. it's just a fingerprint reader, and that's all you really need.

You can. I see plenty of people use their phone, but I do see a fair few Apple Pay using Apple Watches.

Apple Pay is pretty nice; in America they botched the implementation of chip cards so they're all very slow, but Apple Pay is nice and fast.

These things got even normal watches banned in UK exams.
