So, I was playing Pokémon Emerald, and the battery died in my old cartridge... backed up the save file from it and copied it to a different Emerald cartridge (the battery in the old cartridge was starting to eat away at the terminal, so I removed it)

Now I noticed that certain events do not work, such as the Berry Master and the Lottery Tickets; oddly, the clock still runs in Littleroot Town and the Shoal Cave still changes tides - could backing up the save file and restoring on a different cartridge have messed anything up? If so, is there a way of fixing the save file? TIA
