Totally forgot there was a thread for this show, but I've been impressed with season 4 so far. It took a moment for it to hit it's stride, but the animation and direction shift fits the story and tone really well. I dig it!
Also, Nora is best girl. |

The music (only some of it) irritates me. The main singer is really nasally and it's hard to hear what she's actually singing about. It's only a couple of songs though. The melody is nice in most of it.
The animation is pretty well done, though. I'm enjoying Season 4. I watch other Rooster Teeth stuff, so it's a little distracting when I hear the voices of the cast and crew as talent in RWBY. I see their faces, not the characters. I watch the characters just move their computery lips while I just picture the actual face that belongs to the voice saying the lines. |

Posted by KP I know exactly what you mean. Some songs Casey Lee Williams sings just don't seem quite tailored to her voice or tempo (Caffeine, Red Like Roses pt II, etc). The songs themselves are fun though, and their flaws almost give it a do-it-yourself punk rock vibe that I can help but dig on super hard. That said, favorite songs? Divide is easily one of my favorites so far. A good showcase of what Casey does well, and a great capstone to how Season 3 ended. |
