Heh Winnipeg Jets really are whiting out the Nashville Predators tonight... (hence why they call it a "Winnipeg Whiteout") "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥11289 ✿4705 ★50 I was really frustrated with the flat Apple keyboard I use at work, so Mary gave me an old mechanical keyboard she used to use. Was very nice of her...
But damn, it was filthy... had to take off all the keycaps to get at the massive piles of dust lurking underneath, not to mention to clean all of them... that's what happens when it's a main keyboard for a long period of time, I suppose. |

Flat keys are a mixed bag. I can get along with them, but some of them have weird large sizing, where I just can't type without typoing every few seconds. Some also have like no gap between keys. The world could always use more heroes! |

♥11290 ✿4705 ★50 Posted by EpeleIt's very strange; I have the infamous "butterfly switch" MacBook (the one they're currently selling) for my personal laptop and it doesn't really bother me too much... but the work keyboard, which has more travel (if barely), has been bothering me a lot... maybe because it's external and I use external keyboards differently? |

At home I have a Das Keyboard which has Cherry Switches in it. The keys are close together and such but it has good travel and nice clickity-clackity. At work I has a simple stock dome cap keyboard. I have the chance to replace it with a chicklet keyboard but I have yet to do so. I also have a few metal mac keyboards (before the butterfly switch) and I kinda like the space between keys. I wonder if anyone made a mechanical keyboard in that style. (I prefer mechanical keyboards. I am still thinking about getting a unicomp buckle spring one at some point) Bottom line.. it just matters what works for you. I have one of those combination keyboard/trackpoint compact keyboards hooked into a KVM switch into my server/radio station and two Mac Minis (one is used to run Mac stuff and the other is used as a file server for vintage Macs ) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥11301 ✿4705 ★50 Posted by EmuzI've been thinking of getting one of those myself once I learned that they make one with Mac keys; a Mac IBM combination monstrosity for the ages! However, I don't use an external keyboard at home, and I think if I used a buckling-spring keyboard at work everyone who sits around me would be unhappy |

WarpPortal redirects, day 1
/account/payment.aspx (the page I want) insta-redirects to /account/notice.aspx?msg=9 day 2 /account/payment.aspx redirects to /iovation/checkiovation.aspx which then redirects to /error.html turns out it seems to not redirect me to the error so long as I hack my adblocker disabled.. half of the time, that is. I still get the error the other half; but I don't think the adblocker thing is a mere coincidence considering the amount of times I tried. day 3 I can complete a payment but it doesn't actually do anything. I get no WP points at all and the paypal logs zero activity. there's no error message or anything, either. other than that it works, taking me back to the WP points page correctly. I tried several times with no difference. won't keep trying due to risks of going bankrupt if it all suddenly goes through.. eventually. seeing as I find zero info or assistance on the subject anywhere, I doubt it will. the forum says nothing even remotely close to whatever I search about the aforementionned error messages and payment trouble. even googeling the exact error message found nothing relevant. I didn't get a chance to ask if anybody else gets that as I got several different problems in a row. at first I assumed they blocked all EU players from the WP points page, then I guessed they had it throw an iovation check error if you're from Europe, and now I suppose you either can't pay or you get insta ninja-refunded if you happen to live here. |

Got one of those 5" color portable TVs but it appears there's something stuck between the screen and the front panel, so I'm gonna have to open it up to look Otherwise the TV appears to be in good condition (also no leaking batteries/etc.) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."
