So today I've been on my old computer and found like a lot of awesome old files to go through. The hard part ahead still remains which is to clean both this computer and the other to improve my life a bit better by not having to deal with so much clutter.
I hope to turn that other computer into a server of sorts. It has been on my mind for quite some time. My current setup is a bit weird now. |

Unfortunately, my motherboard seems to be dead, but I did want to upgrade anyway... should I go with an octocore or is quad enough for stuff like HD video and Wii emulation? (just hoping my hard drives are OK) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Also, the number of cores isn't always the biggest factor to power. Y'Gotta include clocking speed, efficiency.. and so forth.

I would be the one to get a hexa or Octo core machine if I was to build a new one. I like to deal with Virtual Machines. Those like processors/cores and ram.

Well, things have started crumbling around me, yet again.
This time the electric at my dad's got shut off for excessive pay lapse. I saw the shut-off notice... They owe over two thousand dollars! Before they even think of begging me to bail them out, I'm getting the fuck out of there. I'll move into the motel at work for a month or two if I have to, while I look for a place for myself. It seems like every goddamn time I either feel like I'm getting somewhere in life (ex. getting my loans paid ahead or finding out I got a raise) or think I can afford to splurge on myself with some extra cash I have (ex. my PSP slim or iPod), something comes along to kick me in the balls and knock me down a few hundred pegs and return me to a state of omnihatred self-loathing. I'm fucking sick of this bullshit. Why does the world have to let me start feeling good about things, only to trip me and beat me with a crowbar until I feel like shit again? I hate my life. |
