Giving up, yeah. I know that.
Now for something less depressing (or maybe also depressing but in a different way): idiot drivers. Normally, when you're being overtaken you're not supposed to speed up. Many still due this because they want to protect their honor or something, dunno why. In any case, I had a little race with a big van who desperately didn't want to get overtaken by me. When I eventually breezed past I had already reached 95 mph. That was fun; I like driving fast~ |

So I was at work. Usual stuff for the day.
Except today, the dumb bitch in a wheelchair who sometimes stuffs her pooch behind her came in. Brought some stuff. Requested it put into the bags on the back of her electric wheelchair as normal. Except, she reversed without warning. Straight over my foot. I told her she was on it, she didn't even apologise! Sure, I wear safety boots at work. But she went off the toecap, and onto the non-protected area too! Without those boots, I'd have a broken foot. And a lot more damage. I've lost some of the movement in my toes that I used to have as a consequence too! The world could always use more heroes! |
