Hi, I'm Rambly. I like anime and weirdo music and lots of silly geeky things like playing with different OSes and IRC and forums. I'm also told there are a lot of trans girls here -- I'm an Acmlm's-adjacent trans girl, so I almost feel like my appearance was obligatory. I also have kinda felt like I need to branch out and interact with more people lately, so, yeah.
I've known about this forum since close to when it opened, and I kept thinking about coming back and posting at some point whenever I remembered it existed. I forgot my password at some point, though, and didn't have the courage to pester anyone to get my account back until today. I dunno if I hold the record for longest time between registering and posting on a forum ever (over six years and two months!), but hey here I am. I'm exceptionally shy so I dunno how much I'll post even but hi!!! |

Hi, I'm Melody. I found the original Acmlmboard when I was just a kid, some time in the mid-2000's. Now, I'm 23, and having a general distaste for the modern, I thought I'd see if it was still around, just for old times' sake. To my surprise, it's still alive in spirit via Kafuka, which even has a Discord server. That's great! It's refreshing to see people who haven't let the message board culture of old disappear into the nether. After years of being displaced, I feel like I've finally found my online home again.  |

Hey guys. I'm getting back to the whole forum thing lately and I decided to finally give this place a serious shot. I'll just copy what I said on Jul:
Saying I'm "new" here is a little dishonest -I've known of Acmlm's Board and the earlier incarnations of this site for years- though when I first discovered this community I was way too young to really understand what was going on. I grew up lurking on i3 and Board 2 and the like anyway without ever registering, but I ended up becoming far more active on SMW Central (which is where you most likely would know me, if I'm already not a total stranger to you). SMWC as a community however has kind of (really) been going downhill lately so I think it's about time to migrate. Anyways, there are a few names I vaguely recognize reading and seeing around many moons ago, but the people/community here are mostly new to me so a few things about myself: I'm a dude named Kevin, I'm currently 17 and in my final year of American high school, and I know Italian. I love math and science. And history. And reading. I'm into everything, really. Not exactly a gamer anymore but I still enjoy VG discussion every now and then. I'm not entirely new. In fact, I was here rather recently until I spawned some drama for the umpteenth time between some users due to a conflict outside Kafuka.

I feel that I should post here now that I have returned. I am not exactly a "new user" but I'm a returning one who has changed much since he was last here. I am sleepy, or as I like to be called nowadays, Bread. Old school users might remember me as being a troll (and I honestly don't blame you if you're hesitant at first) and a scumbag.
I have changed much in the 3 years I was gone. Got new friends, lost friends, got new ones, and learned a lot about life.
