Not when it first came out. I loved the idea as a kid, but the price was waaaay too steep.

If you can find one for a decent price, go for it. Otherwise, just get the discs and emulate. :P

Jacksonville, because I'm really not into football that much.

By vinyl, we are referring to records, an analog audio storage medium consisting of large, finely grooved vinyl discs. When these discs are played on a phonograph (aka record player) at a certain speed, they can reproduce a sound recorded on them, most commonly music.

Records became one of the earliest mediums for selling and playing popular music at home. Because of their historical and nostalgic value, many bands even today will release their music in vinyl record format as collectors items, resellers still value them as cool retro items, and much of the vocabulary from the early music industry (records, albums, LP, etc) continues to be used commonly today.

What got you into acmlm?

Some high school friends introduced me to the original Acmlmboard in the early 2000s. We stayed around for a few years, and now I'm back.

I don't hate ham. I don't keep kosher.

Posted by Swingball
2. What place in Europe is still medieval-ish?

Wherever a castle is still standing, I suppose.

Posted by Swingball
3. What place in the world still has a real Monarchy?

Isn't England a ceremonial monarchy?

Posted by Swingball
4. Why a Knight? Why no Pirate or Viking?

It's not so much about knights, and more about paladins.

5. Proud to have a place on the Chessboard?

I am not a tiny horse.

At least in terms of lateral thinking, I guess.

I try to stay away from drugs, but of the two, pot is safer. Plus, Grubhub is already my friend, so yeah.

I don't chop posts. I chop broccoli.

Seriously though, I like to format the questions and answers to make them easier to read. I think it's better than a miniature wall of text.

Belly dancing is for ladies with style and taste.

Pole dancing is for fun girls who want to get saucy with their SO.

Twerking is for ratchet-ass hoes.

Are you talking about an absolute monarchy then? I hear Saudi Arabia is one.

Knights are good, but I prefer paladins.
