Spoilers doesn't work on mobile (Safari iPad).
And by that I mean that you can't open them because you need to hover on them, and pressing on them doesn't work either.

You can't read this on mobile!

Having literally just tried to read your post on my phone, all I can tell you is "get a better browser". Because I can in fact click on the spoiler to reveal it.

I can tell you, that the spoiler was redesigned based off testing done with the stock web browser on a Galaxy S running Android Gingerbread.

If it works on that, but not a newer browser.. the newer browser obviously has issues.

But on an iPad it doesn't work in Safari.
Alright. Will use chrome instead.

iOS browsers all use WebKit due to Apple's poxy restrictions, I know this is an old thread but this is something that needs to be fixed, especially considering I use an iPhone... :P

I've managed to fix it by adding a onclick="" to the spoiler1 span.

Current spoiler, doesn't work on iOS.

New spoiler, works on iOS.

You can add it to Acmlmboard by editing this line:
$msg = str_replace('[spoiler]', '<span class="spoiler1"><span class="spoiler2">', $msg);
to
$msg = str_replace('[spoiler]', '<span class="spoiler1" onclick=""><span class="spoiler2">', $msg);

I tried to make a PR on BitBucket, but well, BitBucket is a fucking horrible mess.

I don't understand why we're using BitBucket instead of GitHub... we'd probably get more attention on GitHub to be honest, and more people are probably familiar with it.

They were in the process of moving of github from what I've read but... Nothing.

speaking of spoiler bugs...

In Microsoft edge, spoilers are automatically shown to the user....which kind of defeats the point of a spoiler. If anyone can fix this, it would be great!

Regarding Microsoft Edge, the issue is a browser-specific issue. Spoilers work correctly in Internet Explorer 11, its predecessor.

I'm also aware that Edge supports extension functionality. Are you using any?

Then that signals the issue is with Edge as it is failing to adhere to CSS standards.

As such, this is an issue that most likely can't be fixed.
