I saw this at Kuribo64 and decided to share it here as well. If you use photobucket, please move your images elsewhere (I.E. You're own host or another image place) so any place that uses images aren't destroyed by the "Please upgrade your account" message. This is especially important for layouts so those don't become unreadable as well. Please share this at other forums as well and get the word out ASAP! |

Yeah I went ahead and downloaded everything off my Photobucket then erased my account... there's no way I'm paying no damn $99 just to allow third party linking  "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Good! Imageshack went to something similar but at least you get a 30 day free trial so meaning you could create an account, upload your photos then when your 30 days is up, delete the account and restart and do it as many times as you want! |

I’d recommend pi.gy (which does support HTTPS but it isn’t in the default generated URL shown to you), it is uncompressed, no-shit image hosting that doesn’t need an account and isn’t bloated with meme crap unlike Imgur.  ____________________ Good riddance! |

OTOH, another option is to get something like XAMPP and host off your own machine (like I do with some of my images)  "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥10159 ✿5174 ★24 The big problem is that image-hosting is kind of a big loss; they take up a lot of space and if you're hotlinking them they can't make money-- I wouldn't trust any large free image host to not do this eventually.
