Been meaning to try FF Tactics though. There's far too many things I need to catch up on that are on my "I will get to this eventually" list. Games, anime, shows, movies, music whatever. Posted by Danika If you mean the physical systems themselves, no. Posted by DarkWitchClaire Fuck, that's a hard one for me. I tend to pay attention to that a lot, as someone who's an artist myself. I guess I'll go down some of the most notable examples I can think of right off the top of my head. Fighting games usually tend to be amazingly well done from an artistic and stylistic standpoint, which was sort of what always mainly drew me to the genre. Some notable examples there would have to be Guilty Gear XX (yes, as beautiful as Xrd looks with its 3D models in the style of 2D anime, the overall art direction and stages look much more metal and cool to me in the older games), older SNK/Capcom fighters with their amazing spritework (although KOF 13 looks fucking beautiful, shame they had to fuck it up with 14 so badly with lame PS2 tier 3D bullshit), Skullgirls with its beautiful hand-drawn animation, I could go on. I also have a soft spot for really cute art styles, like you'd find in Puyo Puyo or something. I guess in terms of that whole realm stylistically, Disgaea is a series I've always liked in terms of art style. Perhaps Shantae also falls into that category.
