Talk about the 2017 hurricane season here. What do you think is gonna happen? Will we have a repeat of 2005 and have to use the Greek alphabet? Will the season go into January like it did in 2005? Only time will tell I guess. I did hear that there is a chance of something forming near Florida but we'll see on that. |

So far the Northeast has been lucky with no hurricanes directly hitting it, but I just hope Protect4 doesn't run out at an inopportune time and we get hit with something "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Posted by Danika There's a chance that Hurricane Maria may hit unless that is now out of the question. |

I haven't seen anything about Maria coming to the northeast, not that I'm overly concerned at the moment. It hasn't been so long after Sandy that we won't be more prepared this time if something happens. |

Remember that there's still around 2 months of hurricane season, so don't think we're out of the woods just yet either "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Posted by Danika Plus hurricanes can hit in the off season but for one to form that far north during said off season is rare and unusuall. |

Come to think of it, Sandy did happen in late October, didn't it?
Yeah, still not concerned. |

Posted by Robbie Rage Yes it did. And there was a snow side as well. It wasn't supposed to hit Ohio but it ended up doing so. In order for this type of setup (hurricane/snow system) to happen again, my old home of the quad cities would have to be cold enough to support snow (and not be having temps near 90 degrees) which doesn't look likely anytime soon leaving this scenario out of the question unless an unplanned cold snap the models did not predict comes in (They are all forecasting an above average October) |
