We got a local band from Buffalo, NY named Armcannon that came out with a second album a year or two ago. They are fucking sick. They do covers for a lot of older games such as Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Megaman, etc. They also did a tribut to Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michael's entrance songs, releasing I'm A Real American Boy which is mad good, and also a cover on the original Power Rangers theme which I can't get enough of.

Check out a sample?

Not to be confused with Favorite Video Game Music! Cover bands are, covered. ;)

I'm not sure if this is considered covering: The Megas take Megaman songs, play them, and add lyrics over them. They're technically covering the song but also adding lyrics. I'm guessin' that works too, so here ya go:

They've done one non-Megaman over, but that was of "Sunglasses at Night", which isn't video game related. They've done a Megaman 1 album and a Megaman 2 album, they're working working on 3.

Either Press Play on Tape, Makke, or Machinae Supremacy (I love C64 Remixes).
