Posted by TreliorWell, I did some research on this, and I realized how dumb that assumption was... Shell is the only worthless one. Barrier wards against ailments and Wall was the spell I thought did the same as Shell... Only, it doesn't. I can outright block spells. Good thing I kept it. |

Since I'm really getting bored of grinding magic, I decided to test out a glitch that's been around since the original FF2 on NES. If you start a battle with one weapon, attack for a few turns, then switch to another weapon type to finish the fight, the weapon you ended with will gain exp toward its level that would have been gained on the first weapon.
Example: Say you have Shield level 1, and Knife level 13, and you don't want to have to sit and stab yourself for an hour to gain level 14. Equip two shields, and "attack" for three or four turns, then switch to any two knives and end the fight. DING! Your knife skill gains the level your shield skill should have. The result? The glitch is still there! |

Still playing Lollipop Chainsaw.. just trying to beat the "Dad's High Score" on every level.. Just can't seem to crack it on level 4.. Cleared all the other levels, just can't break it on level 4.. The world could always use more heroes! |

I stand corrected on the weapon skill glitch. The exp is given to the ending weapon, as expected, the catch is this: The exp is scaled for the end weapon's level. In a sense, they fixed the glitch... I'm a bit annoyed by that.
In other news, this grinding is completely retarded. I order to make Ultima the strongest ability in the game, you have to make the caster competent at everything... That kinda defeats the purpose, wouldn't you think? |

Doing a playthrough of Tales of Vesperia. Not changing the battle difficulty from Hard to make up for the various Grade shop advantages I have.
Beat down a Giganto Monster after running into it.. having forgotten about it. Managed to beat it though. The world could always use more heroes! |

Since Curt let me borrow his copy of Kingdom Hearts II to rip to my external hard drive for when I crack my PS2... Whenever I can find a Gameshark/Codebreaker/Whatever that the fucking thing will read... I decided to take a break from FFII and my most recent six hour grind session (which finished my magic, and now I'm on to the party's weaponry).
I loaded up my old file from years ago that was saved in Radiant Garden right before the showdown with Mama's Boy. While I wasn't able to win after four tries, it quickly retaught me the control scheme. I almost beat him, and by 'almost' I mean a bar and a half of HP to go, but I must've started getting cocky because I wasn't able to block anything... Even the obviously telegraphed attacks. |

Furthered my playthrough of Tales of Vesperia and pushed through the second act, and into the third act of the game.
Some of the bosses are proving to be a right pain in trying to beat them down on Hard. The last boss I fought had a HP just short of a million.. The world could always use more heroes! |

Just finished Paper Mario... I'm kinda disappointed how close to the end I was when I stopped playing last time. Checking the time in my message board, I only had the playing for 1:24, and that includes resetting the game right before Bowser to redo my badges, then watching the ending. I probably only had about forty five minutes to an hour of actual gameplay out of that.
On to Thousand Year Door, I suppose. |

Dayz is pretty fun, despite being fun of mostly annoying bugs. A few are hilarious like the above one though. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org, YouTube

Just over 25 hours.. My playthrough of Tales of Vesperia comes to a close. Considering I set the difficulty up to Hard.. that's not actually too bad.
The end boss gave me a little bit of trouble, but I put that mostly down to how much damage Big Bang does. The world could always use more heroes! |
