I spent three and a half hours on Beat Hazard.
I must say, I didn't know what to expect going in, but I am thoroughly enjoying blowing shit up in space to unfitting music. I got the achievement for clearing a song perfectly on Bohemian Rhapsody. |

Skyward Sword.. I have gotten really into this game. I like everything about it.. the new items.. like.. Gust Bellows?.. its quite interesting and pretty tricky.. I just one thing left to do and that is 100% the game before fighting Ganondorf. |

I played They Bleed Pixels and Saints Row 3 on Steam last night to farm some card drops to possibly buy Mercenary Kings.
TBP gets weird slowdown at inconsistent intervals, so I dunno if my laptop can't properly handle it, or if the game is supposed to do it. As for SR3, I'm not exactly happy with the fact that the character generator/download client doesn't work cross-platform. I wanted to use my boss from my PS3 file, but wasn't allowed to download him for the website. |

Just toyed around with my "new" Gamecube controller I bought off eBay for twentybux.
It's an official Nintendo wired controller, which is nice since the shoulder buttons actually have a usable click threshold... Seriously, using my third party 'Cube controller made it IMPOSSIBLE to play Super Mario Sunshine since I couldn't make Mario fucking stop and aim the damn FLUDD. I decided to test the analog stick by playing a bit of Majora's Mask. While it is better on the dead zone than my Classic Pro controller, I find that it's a bit too finicky on what it considers a light tilt. I can aim the bow with a bit more finesse, I still lack the minute control granted by just about every N64 controller I have ever used. |

Another post I'm too lazy to retype, so I hope you enjoy copypasta.
Been playing some Tales of Xillia over the past few hours. Just made it to Nia Khera, and decided to go off of the beaten path for shits and giggles by going into the floodmeadow. I didn't get much farther than a few steps in before I ran into my first group of mobs. I didn't last more than a few fractions of a second before getting stomped into the dirt. It was literally no more than running Milla into the group, beginning to cast Fireball, then seeing all three of my party members munching turf. It was that fast, and I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how I got shit stomped faster than my quickest battles to date. As for the game itself, I am very impressed by the depth of the characters. There's a good level of humor that comes from all three main cast members I've met thus far... Even from the stone-faced Milla. I'm kinda kicking myself for letting Tales of Phantasia leave such a bad impression on me for the series as a whole. |
