it's a silly little thread which pays homage to a good game... and in a way to the kinds of threads I used to post long ago (if I posted them)

that client was pretty well known in my classroom for all the wrong reasons during python lessons years ago

see, the python IDE we were using had a link to their IRC channel; what this meant is that a couple of classmates would be obnoxious and spam the chat with nonsense rather than following the lesson.

most didn't even know it the client was called KiwiIRC. They would just call it "la chat di ninja ide" (Ninja IDE's chat)


I also did a thing about this... a joke C++ program which referenced this "KiwiIRC Saga". yep

That reminds me of many times when some not-so-focused classmates used and abused Google Docs's chat function. Sadly, there's no way for the teacher to remove it and also it plays a sound for each message so whenever someone'd send a message on it, there would be ~5 sounds from different parts of the classroom.
Ahh... The chat function is so misused...
