So, which future is the best? I'd definitely have to go with Futurama since it seems to show that society collapsed twice between 2000 and 3000 yet humanity still survived through the thousand years 
But yeah, if we don't solve our problems, we'd end up like Chrono Trigger or The Hunger Games sadly  (oh yeah, and Future the rapper is good too, but he's not a time period  Listen to his music sometime)"Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Other futures.. There's the Fallout setting of a post-apocalyptic war (Titles vary in length of time since that event).
Overwatch is set something like 70 or 80 years ahead, where cars now hover and the only discrimination is human-robot. It's a mixed bag of a future with good and bads. Mass Effect where people now live in space. (No. No. N. O. NO.) The world could always use more heroes! |
