I have a 4K and a 5K monitor. I use it in HiDPI mode.. but still they offer good amount of space and such. The one I just got was a Dell 4K. (plus a 1080p monitor too.) I don't always recommend them if you want to game though. It taxes the graphics card more of course. Good for just normal work though!

Vista sure is better. It provides security warnings if you right click in a networked folder.

I have some really deep seated nostalgic feelings for XP, so I kind of love it

but I never got to use Vista much so Vista/Longhorn have these weird mysterious vibes to them for me. Plus like, the general weird sea green/black aesthetic from that era feels... underexplored? Especially like, compared to Metro which is Everything now

I suppose, the truth is....... the best OS is...

I'd run a recursive batch program which opens another instance of itself and repeatedly opens more instances of itself. Endless UAC.

Only thing(s) I have? Canon Printer/Scanner + Canon Scanner

the printer in particular is kind of old and has been a frequent source of annoyance for color issues >_>

I should get a laser printer, I have a cheapo inkjet Canon that doesn't actually work right, last time I printed something out on it I had to go through and correct missing or broken parts with a pen.

Laser printers don't suffer ink dry-ups. Not fun when it costs like £16 to print a single page out.

That's why I made the switch.

I got the Canon as a gift, and I print so rarely it's never seemed worth the up-front cost to replace it... but yeah, once this ink cartridge dies I doubt I'll buy another :P

I printed one page out of a brand new ink cartridge once. Second page I tried, dry.
