How do you expand your layout to your avatar area?

My old one did this too. There's four css classes designed for post layouts to enable this sort of thing.

sidebar<user id>
mainbar<user id>
topbar<user id>_1
topbar<user id>_2

Use all of them, and you can fully customise your layout.
