I was chosen to enter this popularity contest at my high school in which I basically gotta go up and do a thing for entertainment along with my escort. At the end of the competition the audience will vote for me or any of the other few people entering as well.
I had a lovely act all set up nicely and organized to my liking, but then I found out at a meeting that one of the requirements is that I must strike three poses as I'm walking out onto the stage. My problem with this is that I'm not very good at physical humor/acting, and whenever I attempt to dance or do anything else of the sort, it always comes off as awkward/cringe. I understand that this isn't really something that's very easy to give advice on, but does anyone have any suggestions on interesting poses to do? My general goal is to do ones that are simultaneously funny and serious, but if anyone knows of any that are references to cool things, then I'd love to hear about that. ____________________ "No, he doesn't row." No idea, but in regards to the first paragraph, isn't high school society just a popularity contest in itself? Seriously, I had a lot of trouble in that regard and so did my few friends I had there. |
