Anyone use them? I'm considering getting one, but I've heard mixed reviews. Some people I've spoken to love them, others say they drain their phone batteries through the Bluetooth connection somehow.

How about you all? Any preference for intelligent wristwear.

From what I gather, opinions are all mixed on them. Some love them - a co-worker uses hers for contactless payments, but hates when she forgets to charge it as it becomes an expensive bracelet.

Me, I'm just happy with a dumb-watch that tells me the time and doesn't need nightly charging.

And yeah, connection sync with a phone will be a drain as bluetooth is one of the biggest battery killers for a phone.

I'd much rather preserve battery myself and I don't even have a regular watch (though I probably should) so I don't want one.

Had a Fitbit at one point if that counts, then a Samsung smartwatch later. Never really used both, would always end up dead at home in my drawer.

I have a fitbit but now it won't sync up and it is collecting dust somewhere.

Samsung Watch 3. Very much been worth my time having it. I did change out the strap it came with and replaced it with a 9 dollar magnetic watch strap though.
