Honestly, I've just kind of accepted the reality that fandoms for essentially any large franchise, property or thing in general are a shitshow to some extent.

i cannot stand the doctor who fandom even remotely lmfao. that's compounded by the fact that i also don't really like doctor who tho
as for star trek, i don't... think i've ever encountered a star trek fan that's a part of the fandom. does the fandom even exist outside of caricatures from 20 years ago |

for some reason i hear that a lot, like peoples' opinions on moffat's writing are basically inversely proportional to how deep into the series they are? and "steven moffat is a great writer" and "steven moffat is a terrible writer" seems to be both opinions hbomberguy has, which is funny (but i get it)
for what it's worth i don't hate doctor who, i just find it pretty boringgggg |

I hear Jodie Whittaker is doing a really good job, and Moffat is out, but... I've just been burned out on the whole thing :/ |
