Posted by Robbie Rage House. Pay it off. Invest in things that will take care of its upkeep then dump the rest in savings and not stress about things in life for the rest of my days. I'll still go to work but you have no idea how well that'd have me set. Past that, if I was smarter, knowing where to invest said money to propagate it further because, frankly, that's what people tend to do anymore but hey at least I wouldn't feel bad starting a family to pass on said wealth. Posted by Danielle Yoshi's New Island. Hands down. Posted by DarkWitchClaire Something based around a 486 with a decent graphics card for the time I think. Probably one of the first 3dfx ones. I wouldn't mind building something around the WFW era, in that respect. I've got a 286 at the office that does an OK job for some other things but it's quite worn. I've got a W98 machine that does all right and has some more retro things on it but the 486 was the era of envy that I miss. I at least have an AWE32 and 64 Gold hanging around at the office that's attached to the W98 machine. Which is also attached to an RCA Colortrak from 1989. |

Posted by DarkWitchClaire If I'm reading that right then I don't have a real opinion to give you in that I've never actually played it. The only thing I can think of of the puzzle star variety that would be close enough that starts with Q would be Quarth and I really wasn't any good at it. |

Posted by Danielle Offhand? Probably Atari, honestly. I remember the Windows ports of classic arcade titles to be paired with Windows Entertainment Pack from back in the day. I also remember a good amount of games on the PS3 before the 2000's cutoff from remakes. Pac-Man DX titles, for sure, were worth a look but that might've been after. I think Galaga and Space Invaders redo was the cut line though but I wasn't a fan of SI. Galaga DX, yes. |
