Also, I ported this from another board. I changed some stuff that didn't work or otherwise could have looked nicer. Made some slight edits. Will probably replace the image on the left fairly soon.

Even worse was when on AB1 they had that "post background" field. So many people put their absolutely horrible backgrounds in there... just ugh.

And if for some bizarre reason you need to look through the archives with layouts on, even layouts that were acceptable at the time look that way thanks to image host 404 images. :P

That or 403s where the account is in suspension.

Also, my post doesn't look so bad when formatted with your layout's css. White contrasts so much better.

Current to-do list:

· Decrease size of sidebar image (?)

This font is cheaply ripped off another website. They might not like that very much. On the other hand, they may not care now a webfont. How is it?

From the looks of things, this sidebar image will be horribly cropped whenever I make a short post. Not cool. The alternative, however, is making it tiny, which I'm not sure is slightly more cool or slightly less cool.

Header and signature? Shouldn't that be header and footer?

Fun fact: it's called a signature instead of a footer because, in all likelihood, the first implementation didn't have a header, making it more like the signatures of most any other board. The name just stuck, perhaps because often enough people use it as an average signature, like Emuz does.

ABXD, in contrast, calls it a footer in userspace, though the database and code still call it a signature.

I dunno, I thought it was just called a signature because it's the bottom of your post - basically where you'd put an image or some sort of text if this was a standard forum without post layouts.
