Got a speed boost starting this month.
The 56K modem at the workhome connected at about 46666-53333 baud (about 50 Kb on average), depending on the weather and other random factors. In 5 years time, my Internet got about a 1000x faster! I am seeding Ponies LIKE A BOSS. I hope I will have a 50 Gb connection in 2017 
Edit: looked it up, it was a ZX Spectrum with a 2400 baud modem, known as the Visicom, and it was solely for primitive text chatting over a phone line. But hey, that means I used a ZX Spectrum without knowing  ____________________ I don't give a flying feather |

It's funny if you consider my 56K history.
I used to be much more patient in my youth, waiting 10 minutes for a Commodore 64 game to load... With Ziggo I can go 10 Mb/s for 10 euros less, or 120 Mb/s for 15 euros more. ____________________ I don't give a flying feather |

My internet speeds seem to go backwards. I'm browsing slower than yesterday..
Only due to the fact the only internet available is mobile internet right now. Edit: I take that back with a newly connected connection.  The world could always use more heroes! |
