For some reason, I picked up a copy of "The Best of Styx". Mostly for "Mr. Roboto", but right now the playlist is at "Fooling Yourself", which isn't even close to halfway through the album, and Roboto's the last track! GAH!

So I'm listening to the Japanese soundtrack of Sonic CD cause.... well it's not as good as the American soundtrack in my opinion, but I still enjoy it. The boss theme though.... random laughing, "ooh!"s that sound like someone getting donkey punched, "Work that sucker to death" being looped in the background, and random rap. It's just..... why?

The J/E soundtrack is clearly the superior of the two. Plus the Boss Theme is awesome, mostly for the reasons you listed. :P

EDIT: Might as well say what I'm actually listening to as well: this. I listen to too many Touhou remixes :P

I mean, I can understand if people think it's better, but the way you said it.... makes the think you're pullin' my rump.

It's a good OST, I enjoy listening to it, but it sounds way too much like one big jazzersize video and not enough like a Sonic game.
