I'm fairly certain that <font> is getting phased out of support entirely. |

Posted by LilianaIt's not so much everyone saying "What were floppies?" so much as young kids and stupids saying, "What were floppies?"Posted by TreliorPosted by GreyMariaI don't care. I'll continue to use it until I'm forced not to. I'm twenty two, and I remember floppies as if I was still using them to this day. |

♥1209 ✿4705 ★50 And then you can show one to them, and the save icon will make more sense. |

The Save icon does not represent a floppy diskette. The Save icon represents saving.
At least that's what Stack Overflow and UX.StackExchange said. |

♥1210 ✿4705 ★50 Ah- so of course, floppy disks were designed they way they were because it made it clear you could save things on them! |

Not really. It just shifted in meaning over time. I mean, who uses folders nowadays? The actual things that the icons represent, that is. And how come you "save to (floppy) disk", but "load from a folder"?
Some programs use folders for both, with an arrow pointing out of or into it, for loading and saving respectively. That still leaves the question, "what the fuck is that folder thing supposed to be?" At least, for the young'uns. |

I see no thunder stolen.. from me at least.
Then again, there's not much thunder you could steal from me. Not my elemental property. The world could always use more heroes! |

Posted by Nicole If you're going to go that route, the sort of upset I want to see involves porn posted alongside the rankings. In all seriousness, though, I was thinking it would be quite amusing if (random user) stepped up and did the rankings one day. |

There's one problem with that. The rankings code is auto-generated, and only one non-staff user has access. The world could always use more heroes! |
