Because over near (or even in) the UK you have Ireland, and Ireland is a bunch of drunks. As a stereotype that is. Same as Germans, but...I don't really know, that's just my conclusions. :P
..I didn't even think of that one. And for your geographical knowledge, the UK consists of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. ;)


I am part Scottish, so I wouldn't know. :P

Closest I been to the UK is where I live right now, in Nova Scotia. Which is some language (I forgot) for saying New Scotland.
