Indeed. I had to rely on my mobile connection to get online last night though. The home connection went out of sync with the ISP.. So the internet went derp.

At one point, IRC was using the entire of the connection up before it died out. >_>

Oh my wireless to the router was fine. It were bad from past that point.

I've also come to the conclusion that playing x360 games via System Link sucks when you need a headset to communicate cross-room when some games have horrific game chat quality.

I think my wireless router (from which I had a networkcable connected to the computer) was messing up my connection aswell. I could get anything between 0.12-12 Mbit/s. Unstable would be an understatement. I pay for an up to 24 Mbit/s line but get around 12 because of the lousy digital TV running on the same line.

So I tried connecting my computer directly to the modem and now it's stable at about 8.5 Mbit/s. Wtf.

Occasionally, my ISP refuses to let me online all day for some mysterious reason, so I leech off a nearby unsecured Wi-Fi connection instead. It's still annoying.

Sounds like an FDS disk. Any reasonable NES emulator with FDS support should have an option in some menu or other to flip over the disk.

"For best results get an analog to a FDS disk. Could be an actual FDS disk, a floppy, or a paper back copy of "Catcher in the rye". Wire up a gyroscope and a control board that is set to detect which side it is flipped. Have it connected to a USB controller for compatibility. The driver should support either emulated keypresses or a direct plugin to your NES emulator of choice. For the experince make sure to have it set that if you try to pull the disk out while it has not been it eject it makes a horrible grinding noise and possibly "damage" your disk image..."


or yeah I think it was two of the function keys on my setup. I haven't use an NES emulator in a while.. I would love actually use the real deal once. :)

(I haven't been sleeping well. :P)

So, they said this NES emulator was accurate, but I can't find the "Blow Into Cartridge" button ^_~

My old NES would often put vertical lines at regular intervals on the screen.

My Twin Famicom is rather picky, which often has interesting results :P One time I was playing SMUSA where all the sprites were visible, but the background was just a jumbled mess.

I remember having that issue as well...

The NES Powerpak, on the other hand, somehow seems to automatically handle disk swapping.
