My journey into Doctor Who started with the Ninth Doctor. I've seen all of the newer episodes and at some point, I decided to go back and watch all of the classic Doctor Who episodes. Thanks to Netflix, I'm almost done. I started with the First Doctor and now I'm up to the Seventh. Very interesting to see how Doctor Who started and how it developed over time.

I'm excited to see the new episodes that will air later this month!

I started with the First Doctor and now I'm up to the Seventh.

Wait wait wait... I had heard that the episodes with the first doctor didn't even EXIST anymore! They're on NETFLIX?! O_o This changes my plans for the rest of the Summer.

I started my adventures with Doctor Who recently, actually. About two or three weeks ago now. My friend Krysta invited me over to her house and we just watched, like, six episodes. I then went home and proceeded to watch the entire first season and three episodes of the second. All in one day. That was a fun day.

I need to continue, I haven't touched it since.

Some of the episodes you can stream but the rest you have to get the discs in but it is so worth it!

As far as classic Doctors go, the Second is my favorite so far (still need to finish 7th and 8th first).

EDIT: I have a list of all the episodes in order if you want it. Or I could post it here.

Oh wow, funny I should see this thread. I've recently gotten into it. I'm on the first season of the newly remade. I think it is quite interesting indeed. It captured me quite easily. One of my favorite shows easily now.

Thanks! I'll take a look into watching em all a bit later. Currently the ninth doctor is my favorite (I know I'm alone on this), but I think the fourth will be my favorite once I watch his episodes.

I started with the ninth myself. I've yet to go back and watch the classic ones, but it's on the list. I've been looking forward to the new episodes for months! I can't wait! Reading up on some of the things coming up it looks like a blast!

What is everyone's opinion of the finally of the last series?

I think you mean finale. What you wrote can be read in such a wrong way.

If you mean what I think you mean, I'd say it was pretty good. Makes me wish it were time for the new season.

I've started with him as well. So far, I like him the most but that's probably because of me seeing him first. I've yet to see the classics so that's most likely to change.

Saturday! Premiere of "Asylum of the Daleks". I am really looking forward to it. The rumor is it's supposed to make the Daleks scary again. :)

I still haven't the new series. The Daleks are coming back again? Man, they've been killed off for real, what twice now? I dunno all I've seen is the first season and about half of the second.

The Daleks always come back, no matter the Doctor, time, they always have to have Daleks.

Yeah. They are quite stubborn. In so many episodes you think "oh, it is the last, this should be the end- oh wait no." There's always a comeback with Daleks.

You need your arch nemesis.. What if they killed of Moriarty in the first novel he was in? How about Murdock on Macgyver? We'd miss out on 5 other "Macgyyyyyyvvvvveeerrrrr!" dead yells!

The Daleks are my favorite of the Doctor's foes.. with the Weeping Angels being a close second. "Blink" actually made me flinch really good.

Indeed. I mean I like how they sometimes really get you going . ;)

It is like any other show where that villain always escapes. It wouldn't be fun otherwise and they always find some creative twist with Daleks. They are pretty simple yet interesting foes. I need to watch more. I should jump to the first few soon.
