The idea behind this thread is one person tells a story and then the next person can comment or whatever and then begin one story relating to that story. Then another story can be told not relating to that story that is supposed to be unique by the same person...and then the next person does the same. I have plans for a minimal length requirement but for now we'll see how well people do. However, I do not want to see a simple sentence or a paragraph as a reply. I will ask that you at least attempt to give more content than that.

You can tell stories that are fiction or non-fiction. You MUST state whether they are or not. You do not have to use yourself as the main character. You do, however, have to be there witnessing it if it is non-fiction.

Here are some simple rules:
-Tell all stories within good taste. Nothing NSFW.
-Please make sure your story is as well written as possible so people can understand it.
-State whether or not the story is fiction.
-You can title the story if you want. More encouraged for fictional stories.
-Have fun! Will add more as needed.

Fun fact: Originally planned this as a Forum Game but Emuz brought up it could fit here so I went with that idea instead.

Fictional Story: The Truth of The Dark One

Doan loved to play video games. He played them for hours and hours. However, he noticed that there was this one game he hasn't played before. It sat there on his shelf almost looking like it pleaded to be played.
"Truth of the Darkness" was the title of the game. "Huh, hey Timmy" he called out to his brother, "Let's play this one game we haven't played yet."
Timmy stepped into the room and scratched his head. "What sort game is this supposed to be?" Timmy looked at the cover but it was only a piece of paper in the plastic with that game's name.
"Come on, let's play this game." Doan inserted the game's disk into his Game Cube. It shown the usual logo of the Game Cube but then cut ahead to a scene of several people fighting in this medieval styled battle against an army of what the game called "The Dark One". One of the heroes jumped over hoards of enemies and stabbed the leader in the chest. He fell down with a very loud thud.

Suddenly the game cut to "The Dark One" appearing in some bar and ordering a drink. "What..." was all that Timmy and Doan could say. "The Dark One" kept whining and whining about how he keeps losing against the heroes. He then got up and went to his house in the year 2045. The game then crashed. Timmy and Doan tried to play again but could not replicate what they had witnessed but they indeed remembered that scene with "The Dark One" forever and ever.
