I have like 4 gmail accounts and in the past two yahoo ones. Those last two never being used now. My goal when creating the accounts were to separate business. friends, and family...but that didn't last too long before I decided to forward them all defeating the purpose, haha.

I have others stats I'll dig up but I am curious to see what others here have to say. :)
You can mentioned even PMs from other board and here even. Do you keep everything or do you do some general cleaning every once in awhile?

I only have two emails: My main one, and my college email.... I never delete messages on my main email address and if I know what they say, I don't delete them. This has resulted in me gaining over 10,000 unread emails that I refuse to delete.

Even then, I don't really seem to take up much space.

I use the mail address of my ISP. According to Windows Explorer my mail folder is 300 MB large with 12,000 files, lol. This number does include newsfeeds though, and I have quite many.

My mails seem to date back to 2005, I lost the previous ones sadly. I do try to clean up all the YouTube/Wikipedia/whatever crap I get in my inbox so it's somewhat clean.

Right now my Gmail account is up to 0.4GB of 10.1GB full (or roughly 4% full) with 2368 total messages in the inbox :) (Have had this Gmail account since September 2010)

Just one account, with Gmail. I have a rarely-used college account that just feeds into my main one.

I keep everything, but I've got new accounts every so often. This one is a little over 2 years old.

Which reminds me, my college expects you to check three different types of emails they give you (main college's, Angle's, and some other) which is silly. Why can't they just stick with their main one? Bah!

I just redirect it all to my main one anyways. I usually share my YT one nowadays to friends but may give my main one away. I have an alt one I use for game related things too. The fourth was the college one mentioned. Yep.

I have a gmail one and an account for the website that I write/edit for. Those emails are redirected to gmail so its easier for me. I tend to wake up to 60+ emails daily.

My undergrad used to have this weird "CommuniGatePro" or some such E-mail system, and everyone was expected to check it regularly. After a while, mine got clogged with spam.

Then they switched to Gmail and the world rejoiced ^_~

I think I have a Yahoo mail account, but I never use it.

Oh and a hotmail one, that I also don't use, but at least I know my account name for that one.

Wow...I can't stand when there's one message in my folder. 10K would make me go insane.

I can't either. I'll just click on spam messages one at a time and not really read them, so that the "HEY! HEY, LISTEN! THIS MESSAGE IS NEW!" indicator goes away.

I think I'm going to use that, "HEY! HEY, LISTEN! THIS MESSAGE IS NEW".

Before Seattle/PAX I had to leave open message in my folder for an FYI. So happy now that I've archived them. I hate clutter.

Hey Listen is actually my text-tone.

I rarely get spam messages in my main folder. I use Hotmail, it's actually pretty good about that stuff. Occasionally Match.com leaks out, but eh.

I have a Gmail I use for my Youtube, forum registrations, etc. I also have a Hotmail account for my professional stuff, which I may switch to Gmail because Hotmail is a steaming pile of shit half the time.

I also have an old Hotmail account I used to use before making my Gmail, but the only thing that ever hits it is my Club Nintendo newsletters that I mostly ignore. I should probably switch that over to my main Gmail for convenience, but I can't be assed to do it.

As for unread messages, I try to check my mail immediately, because unread messages bother me. I ignore about 90% of them that aren't from Youtube, since I love reading comments and replies to my comments.

Let's see... I have one Hotmail account, a Gmail, and a Yahoo mail. Those have quite a few emails, roughly 2000 between them. Then I have my ISP email, which has 358 emails at the moment. Then there's the age old government work email...I'll just say countless, since I keep almost everything that's sent to me, just in case. If I had to guess (since at work I cannot access much outside of government sites, and I'm obviously not there right now), I've probably got anywhere from 5000 - 6000 emails stored to a .pst folder since they're kind of stingy about server space.

People still use ISP E-mails?

I remember back around 2007 I was trying to get service hooked up, and they asked what I would like for my E-mail. They didn't seem to understand that I prefer Web-based mail over this POP stuff.

Eh, it was free with the service and takes like 2 mins to set up. My work email is all exchange POP.

I have a few dead accounts out there.. but:
2 Gmail accounts, that all go to my main account.
1 Gmail for Enterprise provided to all students at the University I work at. (again forwarded to my main gmail
1 Exchange account for work

Most of my e-mail correspondence is for work so my gmail is mostly just notifications and etc.
