<Scrydan> Had a dream within a dream within a dream. Had a dream within a dream before but this was more dreamception than I am used to, haha.
<Scrydan> First one was of me "dueling" a coach of some school I don't recognize to some basketball.
<Scrydan> A bit later I "woke up" and I was in some bed I think and my mom called me to breakfast.
<Scrydan> When I seen my mother, I knew something was off but I couldn't point it out.
<Scrydan> Everything seemed so normal and like...it used to be.
<Scrydan> Then I remember she was no longer with me and disappeared. I woke up then.
<Scrydan> They say sometimes the overall mood or feel of a dream is supposed to be what your subconscious is working out.
<Scrydan> There are a lot of times I feel that way about them. I usually try to record them so I can remember them.
<Scrydan> I used to have like a 90% remembrance rate.
<Scrydan> Now to seemed to have dropped a good deal.

What about you? Have you ever had dreams within more dreams? I sometimes have this dreamception. It can be quite weird and off-putting at times when I then actually think the next part is real.

Edit: I decided to make this its own thread because this is more specific and I'd like this to be discussed over just "what is your dreams".

dreamception
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

A couple of nights ago, I had about 5 dreams inside of each other like a Russian doll.

I get nested dreams fairly frequently, but not usually that many. I think it's because sometimes when I have a bad dream, or something bad happens in a dream, I recognize it as a dream and try to "wake up" but fail to do so. Instead, the element of waking up is just added to the dream...

I got something close recently. It was a really nonsense dream, and at the end, I was dreaming that I was in bed, unsuccessfully trying to sleep... and then I woke up.

I remember one nested dream case I had quite a few times, though. Always the same. Dream ends up nightmarish, then I dream that I wake up and run to turn lights on... and then I actually wake up. Weird.
