Shame on all of you! You are all making it too easy for me to beat @Gywall's record. @Gywall you are making it easy too.
For me to beat 289, I need 1st for all but two days of this month. Sure it may be impossible but with the way it was for the last month, had I two more days I could have beaten it. In other news, that last thread's reply rate was lower than usual. If this thread doesn't hit 100 posts, I am canceling 2.6. Hah, I kid. No seriously, you wouldn't believe all the work that went into it.

That still doesn't change the fact we'd have a lot of tie breakers. And no, the system is not up to debate as of this time. Although maybe a bit later since it will be revamped. Who knows?
I speak for most of the devs (since a lot of them are AWOL; @Mega-Mario and I are the most active on discussions) but not for @Emuz's official word on Kafuka. So there might be some switches and options per board basis. As there's plenty of things implemented on AB 2.6 that won't be active on Kafuka. We do need something that encourages more posts so that those 10, 7, 5, ect points are actually worth that much each and every day. Of course, one such encouragement will see the light of day soonish. |

That sort of implementation isn't a half bad idea. There could be a "banned"/"ignored" list that ignores user posts based on being either banned or on an ignore list.
Edit: But for now everyone counts. Should such a list exist, are you sure you want to be on it? |
