At the ''What are you playing now?'' thread on the ''Kafuka Gaming ...uhm ''area'' I had to login again, after either previewing and submitting an edit.
When I did login a second time, the (prepared) edit was gone. I made about the same edit again, and was again asked to login. So I am unable to edit on that thread. Well, at least ''that'' thread for what I know at this point.. |

Does your IP change often? It is probably that. Should you keep having issues, just go into this script and make the IP look for "*" or something closer to your range like "X.*".
If nothing else, delete your cookie that belongs to this board or logout and try logging in again. |

Does this appear as an issue to anyone else? I haven't seen anyone else report anything on this.
I am just going to assume it was related to IPs and lcookie.php needing to modify ranges if not. |

Ive tried editing the same post a third time, and this time went fine. With this issue there is something with deleting a cookie? I am sure Ive deleted my cookies before I tried editing again. That was probably enough. I haven't tried going into a certain ''script''. It don't understand what would then happen too.. |

Well if any problems occurs before Acmlmboard 2.6, be sure to visit that linked script and edit it to * if your IP is dynamic or you are on a laptop moving to different places.
The new system will have a few of the same options but is more visible and less hidden.  |

Just quickly testing if my selfmade avatar works.. -nothing about the editing problem at this point..
edited (update) the selfmade avatar isn't working. It's far smaller than the maxium 80kb though.. also I didn't get above the maximum size of 180x180. Its 160x160 I just wanted to know if it would be shown when posting after editing my profile. I didn't want to start a new thread just for the sake of a quick test, so I tried out in my own thread made earlier... |

I don't know why it didn't set to active, but I manually fixed it this morning for you. The avatar code is some of the oldest code. It's been worked on in the update, but we're likely to overhaul it. It shouldn't happen again.. but if it does please let me know and we'll try and see what is making it do this. The lcookie thing shouldn't be saved in a cookie, because it defeats the point as soon as you switch to another PC and thus all the IP settings are reset.
Dunno how hard it is to change that, but... |
