Well, there's one particular user at Jul that I absolutely can't stand the presence of whatsoever (AFAIK, it's not anybody here.)

I have friends at school and work, but I never hang out with them outside of school or work, so I'm not sure if they count.

Spring. It's not too hot or cold.

I've been to Canada, Germany, and France. As for US states, I've lived in Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, and I have visited about half of the 50 states.

I usually use my first name (Taryn) these days, but I didn't want people to think I was ChibiTaryn.

I prefer emulators.

They're more convenient, as I can just have all of them on my computer rather than having a whole pile of consoles. Especially given the scarcity of electrical outlets in this 100-year-old apartment building. Also, I'm not hardware-savvy at all, so I don't know how to fix consoles that break or replace dead cartridge batteries.

I don't use savestates to cheat, but I do like being able to use them to quit at any time and pick up where I left off. Some older games have poor save systems or even none at all. When I used a real NES, I was always afraid that I would copy a password down wrong and lose all of my progress.

I use Notepad++.

I never really liked those 1970s text editors like vi and emacs. Even for someone who used 1980s computers, the interfaces were too hard for me to use comfortably.

I have 2 analogue sticks on my gamepad, so for N64 I just use one for the N64's stick and one for the C buttons. I imagine that doesn't work for some games, though.

I'm not good at controlling gamepad-designed games with a keyboard, and I prefer a gamepad.
