Depends on how it's conveyed, really. The "Deadpan Snarker" archetype usually doesn't play as well online. Sarcasm needs to be more obvious on the Internet. I don't mean in your face obvious, but some people make sarcastic remarks that look and sound 100% serious.

I was on a red-eye to Germany in '08, and I didn't get any sleep at all. Ended up sleeping most of the first day there.

Sadly they introduced one of those stupid "download accelerators". Um, no, I will not take a .exe file. Every time I download something with one of those dumb helpers, my computer gets infested with malware. At least you can turn it off, but you have to do it individually for each video

I don't understand why people say bright themes are "blinding". I'm fine with them. Does everyone else use their computer in the dark or something?

No, I just have sensitive eyes. They hurt on sunny days, for instance, which is one reason I prefer cloudy weather.

I don't get why the whole world decided bright is better online. In the old days it was always black screens.
