I had to go back and forth with posting in this thread. On the one hand, a friend of mine committed suicide, my country is more divided than ever, hatred is everywhere, my workload increased, and I'm busier than ever.

On the other hand, I got engaged to the love of my life.

Therefore, in spite of what the author of Trainspotting chooses to do, I choose life.

Fuck suicide. Fuck depression. Fuck cynicism. Fuck snark. Fuck social media. Fuck self serving virtue signalers. Fuck division. And fuck a bleak future.

Now and forever, I am opting to choose a great 2017, and an ever better 2018.
