Hello there.

Being Dutch we did the December gifting twenty days earlier, at Sinterklaasfeest. I got a ziplock bag full of M&Ms and such, and a Steam gift card.

Oh and a 1.5L bottle of cola... made of chocolate, being the original container of the other two things.

So instead of an Opera-presenting browser that just uses Chrome's renderer, here's an Opera-presenting browser that runs on what's basically the daddy instead.

As much as I love Opera 12 (I'm posting this from O12 in fact), this doesn't exactly fill me with hope.

If you guys think board2 is effectively dead, try Noxico Support lol. Now that's what I'd call a dead board.

You know what, guys? I'm real happy to see all this positivity regarding ABXD.

I'd kinda like to rewrite it in a non-PHP language, myself... but I don't have as many options as one'd think.

I actually did work on it a bit recently, as Twitter helpfully indicates. Perhaps a dedicated thread for it here... you never know.

Hmm lessee... I got PHP, fuck that. I got Perl, but barely managed to rewrite my autoindexer in that... I suppose I got Ruby on Rails, but that's a weird mess I can't even begin to work with in all honesty... I'd much prefer a system that works like PHP, like how I have my Perl thing set up right now... hrmm...

Nah, can't rightly say I am.

This should not even need debate.

Opera 12 is great. Just a lot of websites that use crazy features that don't work quite right so for example you can't click anything, because somehow something is covering it all or whathaveyou.

We really need an official source release of Opera 12.
