I've spent the past four hours editing my Metal Slug race. I'm almost done with it... Or I was until Thet suggested another thing to do with it. Achievements, a la ProtonJon's Battletoads race.
This probably added another six hours to production time, but I think it'll be worth it in the end. Also, @Emuz, would you mind if I posted the races here? If so, where would be a good place to post them? |

I woke up today to find that my C:\ had 2 MB of space left.
Let me repeat that: Two MEGABYTES of space. I did a frantic sweep to see where I could wipe some files out that weren't necessary anymore, and found that I had a whopping 12GB wrapped up in my raw video file for my Mega Man 9 race. Even though deleting it and several unused programs freed up about 20GB, I'm going to repartition since I don't need 85GB of free space on E:\. I think I'll cut the partition down to 100GB from the 145 it's at since E:\ is just where I keep things I don't want wiped if Windows blows up. Unfortunately, I have to backup my partition and totally wipe it since Disk Management won't let me shrink the partition and easily extend C:\ over it. So much for getting to my editing in a timely manner today. |

I just finished the challenges in Binding of Isaac. The Purist was a bitch until I read on the wiki that you can glitch the challenges to allow you to use any of the seven characters you want, regardless to if they're unlocked, provided you have fast enough fingers.
With that knowledge in hand and the fact that he's incredible to play as, I picked Cain since I can nearly guarantee a successful Cathedral run with him. Items I managed to get included: Little CHAD (wound up being totally useless), The Relic, Gish, The Holy Grail, Mom's Purse, Child's Heart (also useless), Mom's Pearl, Cancer, The Missing Page, fuckload of Range+ and Tears+ pills, and Guppy's Paw. I went into the fight with Isaac with a staggering seventeen and a half soul hearts. I know this because I knew he couldn't kill me, so I deliberately took damage until my missing HP was visible. |
