I love how Walmart hired me as a photo lab technician, yet the CSMs keep stealing me to cover register for them. I think I made a mistake telling them about my three years of cashier experience.
Luckily, the lab's scheduled overstaffed because of the other two trainees and I finished training a week before anyone anticipated, so my manager wasn't too upset about losing me for an hour. This is twice now that I've been asked to ring for "fifteen minutes" and was stuck there for more than an hour. Not that I'm complaining, it's not like they're asking me to do something I'm not familiar with doing. I was looking for something to do anyway. Welp, I just burnt my fifteen minute break on this post, so I guess I need to get back to work.  |

Been trying to get a shiny Froakie on X for the past two hours thanks to my friend trading me his spare Japanese Ditto for one of my Honey Gatherer Teddiursas.
The father is my Protean Frogadier, because I'm hoping for the shiny that eventually hatches to have it. So far, I've hatched fifty Froakies with a 50/50 split on their ability. The aforementioned friend managed to get TWO shinies today. An Eevee and Sableye. I'm kinda pissed. :/ |

So on my lunch break at work, I was looking through the stuff we have in our TCG/collectables aisle in the front end of the store and noticed we have some Pokemon plushies for X/Y.
There were only three left in the box when I found them: Froakie, Fennekin, and Pikachu. When my shift was over, I snapped up the Froakie with some money I really couldn't afford to spend (I like Froakie, I couldn't help myself). Since I get my last full check from Minit Mart in the morning, I'm gonna budget out the money and snap up the Fennekin one if it's still there tomorrow night after work. I'mma have to ask if we have any more of them in the back, because if I can get Fennekin, I'mma want Chespin. Y'know, round out the set. As for the Pikachu plush, fuck it. Pikachu sucks. |

I occasionally haunt Board2 as a guest. Not a whole lot happening over there beyond the stink of a collective bad attitude.
A shame really, because there are some people over there that I would like to see join us here. |

Been playing Y since I'm kinda tired of the only thing being left to do in X is the Battle Maison and fruitlessly gleaning for shinies.
My team is Delphox, Greninja, Crobat, Gogoat, Granbull, and Kangaskhan. I'm right at the fourth gym leader at roughly level 40. Leveling is a breeze since I have my team's exp gain bolstered by having high affection and the Lucky Egg that I just picked up. I already have Nightscream's (Crobat) affection maxed because I wanted the bonus exp to help him catch up from level 13, after I get this badge I'm going to focus on getting everyone the rest of the way to max. As for Pokemon Amie itself, I find myself playing Head It the most since it's the simplest of the three to do extremely well at. Hell, I've already maxed out the score counter (it stops at 999 then adds your highest combo at the end) and my highest combo so far is 147. |

I went to FNM tonight for the first time in about six years.
Since I only have Modern format decks, I played in that bracket with five other players. I came in fifth of the six, but I'm overall very happy with the way the night played out. My deck is fairly powerful, but it lacked a lot of consistency and checks for my combo counters. I got plenty of help from everyone there tonight, and I think I'll have a better chance at winning next week. My deck list Use The Gatherer if you want/need to see any of the cards. |

I've been playing Pokemon Y. I'm in the process of maxing out my trainer's "style" stat so that I can do more things around Lumiose City.
I can get her into the high-dollar clothing boutique, but everything I want to buy is just so fucking expensive... Seriously, 300k for a fucking trench coat? As for my progress, I just beat Calem (That's his name, not a typo of my real name) on Rt14. That fight was a bit of a bitch for my Kangaskhan because his Greninja managed to wall me fairly easily because of Outrage's confusion locking me down for a good seven turns! |

I just had my first sub-six hour shift at work tonight that I've had in probably three years.
I also have off until Wednesday at 5:30. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for two days. |
