♥2921 ✿4735 ★68 I've been going to the Anime Boston convention whose first day was today; I'll probably still be pretty inactive on here until it ends. The first day was fun; checked out the dealer's room and saw some panels... Today I was a catgirl, a friend bought me a leash but security said she couldn't drag me around with it, oh well. (Cats don't like to be leashed anyway ) |

♥2922 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Senaye Usually I would answer "I am that one person", but as the original title of this thread's predecessor was "Ask the local bandwagon-jumper"... oh well. Posted by Gywall ...Stairs? You haven't been collaborating with GreyMaria in some sort of "trick Nicole with mysterious building-themed euphemisms" thing, have you? Posted by Trapster I think the loud noise would end up freaking me out more than them. Honestly the apocalypse is probably going to have to be pretty quiet. Still working on the details there... |

♥2923 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by GreyMaria For that you would need... helicopters?! Posted by TrapsterPosted by Nicole Well one has to be careful here- like, if you ended the world in an instant, just everything gone, while it would be a perfect destruction, no one would even have a moment to see the loss. Posted by Senaye 17.6839:23.5345 Posted by Gywall Whoever has the most heavy weaponry... Posted by Trapster I have not... I never had a 32X. |

♥2924 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Trapster I was not! Though I thought there was an arcade version? I need more games for my Saturn. Or maybe I should just sell it... it takes up space and I never use it. |

♥2925 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Senaye For parents?! God, no... I didn't like my un-armed parents when they got angry, let alone if they actually had weaponry |

♥2926 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Senaye Who knows! I don't know if my parent's house is particularly defensible, but my father's office probably would be and it's not far. |

♥2927 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Trapster It works; the battery is dead (duh) but that's easy to replace. It's the Model 1 USA Saturn; I also have an Action Replay for international games, but the memory element of the AR doesn't seem to work anymore. |

♥2928 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Gywall I always wondered how the Romans named their gods after planets that wouldn't be discovered for a few thousand years. |

♥2932 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Senaye Do you think a third world war is inevitable? There are any number of minor conflicts over the world that could "spark-over"... that would be my guess, perhaps one of them in East Asia. But in general another world war would be so deadly that all the powers would endeavor to avoid it, so I see it as unlikely. On the other hand, that's also what they were saying in 1914. |

♥2933 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Senaye Sending a missile to the continental United States would be difficult for most non-superpowers, but our allies in the region could be damaged. (For example, in the North Korean situation, assuming China does not come to NK's aid the biggest threat would be for South Korea and Japan) The big threat to the US is if we end up in a situation where China or Russia comes to the small country's aid and both sides do not stand down. (I do not have much faith in the missile shield) But I'm a physicist (in training), not a geopolitical expert! |

♥2937 ✿4735 ★68 I went to school, taught some students for a few hours (they blew out two fuses, so maybe I didn't do as good of a job as I should have?), went home, went back out to go to a meetup with some people, and then went home again.
Also, I think I have a girlfriend now? |

♥2940 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by GreyMaria Mushroom. My former roommate also convinced me that the combination of mushroom, pineapple, feta cheese (in her version this was bleu cheese, but I'm allergic), and sausage was delicious. Posted by GreyMaria Some people think my habit of combining spaghetti sauce and cottage cheese is kind of gross? |
