After much debate and a shit ton of persistent friends requests...I've been messing around with Warcraft again. Randomly picked from one of my characters, and the paladin won the bet. Hit level 90, and it's kinda meh...seems like nothing has really changed much. Although plowing through older content with a couple of friends for the gear that looks cool is kinda fun. Honestly man, don't ever give up. Me and my wife had a long distance relationship for 3 years before getting married, and 2 years after getting married. How things turn out and whether or not you stay together and dedicated to each other is a test of patience.
As to her father and the Indian culture...I don't have any helpful info there, other than I don't think you can force someone into marriages in the states. I would think that works the same way as making a will; if you're being forced to do one, it's not a legal document. Possibly something to look a little further into. Moving.
I really don't want to move, but being in the military, it's not an option. When they want to send you somewhere else, you're pretty much gone. My fate for moving is pretty much sealed as we currently have an E-7 running our office, and I'll be promoted to E-7 in a couple of weeks...problem is according to the document that says how many of what rank is authorized for our office, we're not authorized any E-7s. Yeah, it's possible for one of us to stay, but out of the people here now, I've been on base for over 6 years, and in military terms, that's a long time and I'll be the first to go. Expecting to hear about it pretty much any day now and it's a little unnerving. No idea where they'll send me, but I can be pretty much assured that I'll be placed in charge of a large group of knuckleheads and paperwork, as opposed to being the typical physical worker that I very much enoy. *sigh* ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! Yard work. All day. Started at 7am, right as the sun came up. First, I got about 1/4 of the yard tilled to about 2 inches deep, then the city showed up with the two full dump trucks of compost. Shoveled and moved load after load and spread it over the tilled area until it was about 3 inches thick. This process will continue for the next few days until the entire yard is complete. Then I'll be adding a bit more top soil, and seeding. Today's effort: completely exahusting. Could pass out right now. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena!
