I fucking HATE it when people wear skimpy slutty slinky clothes and then whine about how fucking cold it is outside. I just want to piss down their throat, but then again, they're dumb enough that they might be into it so I just suffer with a brain aneurysm until something dumber comes along.

I will say I don't actually dress like Nei. (I mean, Motavia is a former desert planet, and there's no ice on the world map, so one would expect it's generally a pretty warm place)

I will say when I want to make a program, I usually use VB.Net, and most of my projects are done in that. But it's not really out of any particular love for the CLR, just that it happens to be a convenient development platform since Visual Studio is really nice, and I already knew the basics of VB.

Well, inviting oldbies from Jul led to me joining, so I dunno if you really want any more of that.

Due to a discussion in an IRC channel, I took a picture of one of our cats, and decided to post it here as well.

This one is Billie- she's a longhair cat, and can be a bit of a pest on occasion. But she is cute~

Well, then you should also be able to use C#. They all share the same base class library, except VB.NET has some extra things like "My" I think, and IMHO, it's closer to C# than it is to VB Classic.

Are there any other reasons to call it "convenient"?

Yeah, I could probably learn C# if I felt like it- I'm more used to BASIC syntax, but I've used languages with C-style syntax before so I could probably figure it out, and the other differences on top of syntax seem fairly minor. I've seen some C# code and are generally able to figure it out....
